Levels
Factors such as dance background, dance ability etc. makes it very difficult to determine ones level. The description below attempts to help you determine your level. 

• BEGINNERS You never danced before. You want to start dancing salsa and are very keen to get to that dance floor
• IMPROVERS You have been dancing Salsa 6+ month and have taken salsa classes at a beginner level. Or you never danced salsa before but have a dance background and find dance easy to learn. You want to learn the basic Salsa leading/following technique and are looking forward to get to that dance floor as soon as possible
• IMPROVERS+ You took part regularly of the Suavemente IMPROVERS salsa course. You want a more technical approach for your salsa dancing and feel that the IMPROVERS level is a bit easy, the INTERMEDIATE level a bit too difficult but definitely want to get to the INTERMEDIATE level as soon as possible
• INTERMEDIATE You have been dancing Salsa for 1+ years and have been going out to clubs for quite a while. You want a more technical approach for your salsa dancing, are looking forward to improve your leading/following skills and increase your move combinations. You enjoy watching more experienced dancers and try to copy their moves to improve your own salsa dancing.
• INTERMEDIATE LADY STYLING You are an Intermediate or Advance dancer and want to improve your following, spinning and free styling with shines
• INTERMEDIATE+ You took part regularly of the Suavemente INTERMEDIATE  salsa last year. You want a more technical approach for your salsa dancing and feel that the INTERMEDIATE level is a bit easy, the ADVANCE level a bit too difficult but definitely want to get to the ADVANCE level as soon as possible
• ADVANCED You have been dancing Salsa for 4+ years. You find any excuse to go to the salsa club. You have seen and tried more than one salsa style and want to learn new challenging moves. You enjoy watching shows performed by world class dancers and try to copy their moves to improve your own salsa dancing. You take the chance to take private lessons from teachers visiting Ireland and have been in a salsa congress/festival abroad and come back feeling I want be as good as they are!
• Invitation ONLY Class It is not very common we have invitation ONLY salsa classes but some time we have to. This policy aims to keep the level of a class truly at the level that it is intended. It is the result of many complaints received in the past. We think it will benefit every body and is absolutely not intended to offend anyone. Please dont hesitate to contact us if you feel you suit this group and would like to attend the class.
